About Patricia Putsai
Actress. Comedian. Founder. I’ve spent my career helping people feel less alone—through laughter, stories, and safe spaces. Here’s a little about who I am and why I do what I do.
My journey, in short
I grew up in Zimbabwe with a deep love for stories—watching them, telling them, and living inside them. That love took me to Midlands State University, where I earned a degree in Film and Theatre Arts (2014–2018). And it’s kept me working ever since.
I started on stage, in plays like Tunga, Inside Out, and The Storm. Then I found my way to comedy, creating skits with some of Zimbabwe’s funniest people—Nigel Tha Slick Pastor, Comic Pastor, and Gamuchirai Duve. Millions of views later, I’m still laughing.
In 2022, I was honoured to receive the Emerging Female Actor of the Year award at the Ladies in Media Awards. That recognition meant the world, not just for me, but for every young Zimbabwean girl who dreams of a life in the arts.
Then in 2023, I became a founder. Mom’s Reset was born from my own need as a mother—a space to pause, breathe, and remember myself. Today it’s a growing community of women supporting women.
I’m still that girl who loves stories. Now I just get to tell them in more ways: on stage, on screen, on conference platforms, and in circles of mothers holding space for each other.
